Award-winning Roman Tours offer a superb fact-filled entertaining story of 2,000-year-old Deva - Britain's biggest Roman fortress. Legionary guides take you behind the scenes at key sites to explore the drama of life in the Roman Army - all based on the latest research by military experts.
For people who like something fresh, interesting, factual and fun - a perspective on history that perhaps you haven't considered before, touring Chester with an authentic Roman Soldier guiding you on a light-hearted journey through Chester's Roman Heritage. With tours lasting approximately 90 minutes, you will be taken on a journey through the remains of Roman Chester - Deva. Tours start at the Visitor Information Centre.

The Visitor Information Centre is located to the north of the city centre on the ground floor of Chester Town Hall.
