Popular with all ages, this miniature rail experience is one of Chester’s favourite attractions. Built in 1996 to commemorate the centenary of the Duke of Westminster’s railway at nearby Eaton Hall, the railway operates steam and diesel hauled trains on a quarter mile circuit around the pond.
The railway is staffed by volunteers who give their free time to help. Unfortunately they don’t always have enough volunteers to open so please check the website first. The railway may also be closed due to adverse weather.
No easily accessible wifi. No smoking.

Located to the south east of the city centre in Grosvenor Park near the Grosvenor Park Road entrance.
Chester railway station: 15 minutes walk.
