FIM British Speedway Grand Prix June • website
Speedway at the Millennium Stadium - The Annual FIM Speedway Grand Prix Final.

Cardiff Summer Festival Cardiff Summer Festival June, July & August • website
The Cardiff Festival is currently the UK’s largest free outdoor festival and combines over a month of varied events throughout the city.

The Summer Concert Season hosts some of the biggest names in music.

St David's Hall, Cardiff Welsh Proms July • website
The Annual event takes place at St David's Hall and features a series of magnificent orchestral symphony and family concerts.

Cardiff Big Weekend August • website
The three-day Big Weekend, Friday - Sunday, takes place at the start of August, bringing live music to City Hall lawn and a giant fun fair set around the civic centre.

Cardiff Bay Cardiff Harbour Festival August • events
Music, shows and events set in Cardiff Bay. Runs over the Bank Holiday weekend in August.

Cardiff Mardi Gras August/September • website
The multi-cultural and poly-sexual day of entertainment takes place at the end of August or start of September.

Cardiff Half Marathon October • website
The Cardiff Half Marathon takes place on a Sunday in mid October. The route takes in the city centre and many attractions of our fair city. The start and finish is at Cardiff City Hall.

Sparks in the Park November
The annual Cardiff Firework Display organised by Cardiff Round Table takes place in Bute Park on the Saturday nearest the 5 November.

Winter Wonderland November - January • website
Set on the lawns outside City Hall from mid November, it features an outdoor ice rink, drink and food outlets and several fun fair rides and kicks off with the Christmas Lights switch on.

Wales Rally GB November • website
Wales Rally GB is part of the FIA World Rally Championship. This year it has been moved up the calendar to November.

Calennig New Year Celebrations 31 December & 1 January • website
Calennig features a live music stage and large fun fair around the civic centre.
