Victoria Park was
opened as the first official park in west Cardiff in
1897. It is laid out in classical Victorian style with
open air pool and is as popular today as it was when
it first opened. In the past, it use to house the small
Cardiff Zoo and the famous 'Billy the Seal' lived in
the park in the early 1900s, a statue marks his popularity. |

parks which is also known as Sir David's Field. Given
to the City by Charles Thompson in 1911, it's a mixture
of gardens, woodland and open space. Also can be seen
