This open-air Museum
shows how the people of Wales lived, worked and spent
their leisure time over the last five hundred years.
Forty original buildings moved from various parts of
Wales have been re-erected in the 100-acre parkland
of St Fagans Castle. A lot of walking is required, which
might prove tiring for the very young or old! |

St Fagans Castle is
a late 16th-century manor house with magnificent gardens
and 100 acres of parklands which houses the National
History Museum. The Castle and grounds were generously
donated to the people of Wales by the Earl of Plymouth. |

Llandaff Cathedral stands on one of the oldest Christian sites in Britain. The present cathedral dates from 1107 and has undergone many changes in the pass 900 years.
The final result is the beautiful building which can be seen today
