The CTPG is a charity created in 1992 and has been based at the ex-Western Welsh Depot in Barry since 2008. As well as a large collection of buses and associated memorabilia, they also organise two very popular vehicle rallies each year.

Their aim is to preserve representative examples of the buses that ran in South East Wales and the Valleys as well as memorabilia and records of the companies they ran for. The Bus Depot in Barry is open to visitors on Saturdays during the year as well as other selected dates for special events.

Opening Times:

Open 10am-4pm Saturdays and other selected dates for special events (please check the website for any late changes). Free admission.

Advance booking is not required.

Location:

Located west of Cardiff in Barry on the corner of Broad Street and Gladstone Bridge.

Getting There:

National Rail Barry railway station: Ten minutes walk.
Bus Regular bus services to and from Cardiff city centre operate to Barry.
