Birmingham Wildlife Conservation Park homes a wide range of animals including Asian Short-Clawed Otters, Porcupines, European Lynx, Squirrel Monkeys and Emperor Tamarins.

Some species they are working with are critically endangered in the wild -Aloatran Gentle Lemurs, Yellow Breasted Capuchin Monkeys, Northern Bald Ibis, Utila Island Iguanas, Cotton Topped Tamarins. They are also raising awareness of the plight of species and their habitats through various initiatives such as the ‘cans for corridors’ campaign.

Open 10am-5pm daily (until 4pm during the Winter - please check the website for any late changes).

Location:

Located south of the city centre in Edgbaston opposite the junction of Pershore Road and Pebble Mill Road.

Getting There:

Bus Bus services 45 and 47 operate from Birmingham Carrs Lane to Longbridge/Rednal via Pershore Road. Alight at Nature Centre.
