This article looks at wifi in the city, as well as phones and post. Look out for the Solar Tree in Millennium Square for free wifi and phone charging points.

Bristol has good wifi coverage. Most coffee shops and many pubs and restaurants offer free wifi, though you'll usually have to register your details to use it. On the streets, the city centre's free coverage has been reintroduced and you can log in free for a limited time, though the network is rather slow. Mobile service provider O2 has free hot spots in the city. You just need to submit your mobile number for an entry code text.

Bristol's Post Office can now be found within WH Smith, on the ground floor of The Galleries at the entrance on Merchant Street. Post Boxes can be found throughout the city centre including on Union Street, Broad Street, Wine Street and Baldwin Street.
