Staying in the city centre puts you close to all the main attractions. Hotels are plentiful and some good offers can usually be found, especially from the budget chains.

Hotels: Inner City

Staying just outside of the city centre can prove both cheaper and quieter. The main attractions are only a leisurely walk away or a short bus ride.

Hotels: Suburbs

Staying on the outskirts of Liverpool can prove cheaper and easier if you are visiting by car. These hotels are great if you plan to spend most of your time visiting nearby towns and attractions. Public transport can be difficult though.

Hotels: Merseyside

Hotels on the Wirral give the opportunity for a 'two city' break with access to both Liverpool and Chester, as well as Port Sunlight Village, New Brighton beach and Birkenhead Park.

This section features youth hostels, caravan sites and summer student residences. Liverpool has a couple of good value youth hostels right at the centre of the city.
